Over the last couple of decades thousands of hard working, middle class Americans have seen their lives turned upside down, caused mainly by the rampant use/misuse of the H-1B/L-1/H4EAD and OPT work visas. Today almost every corporate IT shop across the country is dominated by foreign born workers. And now this business model is spreading to all other professions. Hard-working Americans are being pushed out and replaced by foreign workers, primarily from India and to a lesser extent from other countries. These jobs are lost to Americans forever because our laws were modified in 1990 to change the “temporary work visa” to one with “dual immigration intent”, allowing worker visas to become a vehicle for mass migration, permanent residency and citizenship. Corporations that were used to quietly transferring thousands of American jobs to foreign “body shop” companies, are now pushing bills – H.R. 1044 and S.386 – that will really open the flood gates to large scale immigration. This will permanently bar millions of American citizens from their jobs, and eventually end the rich diversity of our talent pool that our immigration system provided for us, up until 1965.
We are a bi-partisan group of Americans from across the country who have been directly or indirectly affected by foreign guest worker importation and outsourcing, and are fighting to end what has become the single most outrageous racketeering scheme in the history of the United States.
